IMPORTANT: I AM FULLY FUNDED!!!
Thank you so much for supporting me in…all ways. Your prayers and financial donations are truly God's provision manifested in my life. I'm so humbled by your giving and faithfulness. Seriously–I am praising God for all of you!

I leave BraÈ™ov in about 6 hours, en route for Ukraine! It’s been a great debrief, but I’m definitely ready to get a move on. Details are still kind of fuzzy, but my team and a few others are taking a bus to Moldova, then a train (?…maybe) to a city called Odessa, in the southern part of Ukraine.

Getting Jesus time in the square with Julie Morsfield!

Group hike to the BraÈ™ov sign (it's kind of like the Hollywood sign, here). AMAZING view of the entire city!

This is how Luminous does debrief!

Ministry for next month…

Well, for this coming month, Team Luminous is assigned to take on AIM's Unsung Heroes Campaign (UHC), as well as an ATL month.

Ask the Lord
ATL stands for Ask the Lord. A huge part of being on the Race–and just plain living–is trusting in God's plan and provision. This past month, my team and I prayed that God would "disrupt" our lives, stretch us, and bring us to places where we would absolutely need to rely solely on Him. Well, prayer answered! An ATL month literally means that we ask God where He wants us…aaand we go with His leading!
I know that to some of you, this sounds crazy, unwise, ridiculous, nonsensical, etc. But I hope you'll be open-minded to what can happen this month. Our team definitely is. We are SO excited (no, really) for what’s going to happen.
God's already showing up–one step at a time and ever faithfully. Until yesterday, we didn’t know where we were going to in Ukraine or how we would get there. But through lots of prayer, some networking, and the mostly-reliable internet, we got in contact with someone in Odessa who offered to help us get started with lodging and anything else we may need! All this happened within an hour.

Unsung Heroes Campaign – (also known as UHC) is AIM’s movement to partner and network with people and ministries who are faithfully working for God’s Kingdom, especially those who do so outside of the spotlight, without much recognition. In addition to asking God how He wants us to serve in Ukraine, throughout the month, our team will be writing emails, making phone calls, and meeting up with these “unsung heroes” to see if there are future partnerships in store between the World Race and them. I’m really excited to be used by God in this way—making connections within the family of Christ to bring the body into fuller unity. These people we meet with could potentially be ministry contacts for future World Racers!

We don’t anticipate an easy month, but we know God’s going to show up BIG TIME. Will keep you posted!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8).
