From the time I first heard of my granddaughter, Kyleigh Luckett, participating in the Worldrace as a gap year, before going to college I was not happy about it. Why? For selfish reasons of course! With so much going on in the world the last thing I want to do is leave the country. The great United States of America! I have no desire to leave this country for any reason. Of course missions is a call from God, and I completely understand that and would submit to it if He called me. For me that hasn’t happened but for Kyleigh it has, at least for the World Race.

Since she left in September of last year (2018) it has been nothing short of amazing to follow her by reading her many blogs. My heart is full, and I am constantly in awe of what she is experiencing each day. Just like anything in life there are ups and downs, good days and not so good days. This is an experience of a lifetime for a godly young lady at the age of nineteen. It would be for anyone of any age for that matter.

Kyleigh has articulated her experience so well in her blogs. When you read each one it’s as though you are right there with her. Her Nanny and I could not be more proud of her. Her love for God is off the charts. She is a different person already because of her close walk with the Lord.

God, help us all to love You more and live for You as Kyleigh and her team and others are doing during these Worldrace experiences. Thank you for Adventures in Mission and those responsible for making this possible for these young people to experience before heading into life and all its challenges.

May we experience a supernatural moving of God in the future as these participants of the Worldrace experience God in a real way. If only one in each team came home and allowed God to use them to change the world I believe it would be miraculous. Multiply that by any amount if more than one, and each of them touch the lives of so many. Truly the sky is the limit!

God bless you Kyleigh. God bless your team and the other teams that are out there. God bless Adventures in Mission. Praise the Lord for what He has done and is doing, and we look forward to seeing you in June. Hopefully we will recognize you. Can’t wait to hug you. As you know, I like hugs because hugs are free!

Love you Bunches!!!
