A couple nights ago, one of our field mentors approached me and said…
“I think God wants to bless you with visions”
I then immediately thought in my head, yeah no I don’t think so. Like visions are cool and people who get them are even cooler but me? Absolutely not.
However, I nodded my head in agreement and my mentor prays over me, and asks me to ask God what his love looks like.
So basically by this point I was still slightly shocked but I was like I’ll give this a go. So I was praying and immediately I pictured HORSES. Yes. You heard me. Horses that’s the word that came to mind. And so of course I kept silent because surely God is not trying to show me horses right? Yeah no wrong again.
My field mentor then asks me, “what do I see” and tells me that even if it’s weird, just talk it out.
So I pause. Then I proceed to say “I see horses, they are running opposite directions.. 4 of them.”
She laughs slightly, and so do I because I mean horses? come on now.
She then proceeds to tell me to ask God what that means. And so I pray and immediately I get the word “wild”.
So yeah that’s great I got wild and I got horses. Yeehaw. But then God began to show me that these horses represent his love for me. These horses represent that the Father’s love goes in all directions and that it cannot be contained. That it is wild and free and has no limits.
How freaking cool. I’m still sorting it out but just wow. The coolest part is not even the horses but the fact that the Fathers love is wild for you too. He has no limits and wants to wrap you so tight in his arms because his perfect Love was made for you. You don’t have to seek your approval in others because the Father already calls you worthy. He died on the cross for you because his love for you is so deep. So take peace in that because to be loved and in the arms of the father- well that is the best place to be.
