Visiting India, Ukraine, Romania, Chile, and Peru all in the span of nine months with will life-altering for many reasons. I expect God to use me in ways I’ve never allowed Him to before solely because of the knowledge that I’m putting forth so much effort to meet and know the people I will during this trip and I suspect this will loosen my hesitation in every way. Also I know it will be a humbling experience purely because I’m aware I’ve never even seen actual poverty. I hope for a renewing of my spiritual strength and understanding. Most of all I expect to gain much wisdom throughout the trip, better knowledge of the cultures, better understanding of desolation and poverty in other countries, and a whole new perspective of my life as it can be after returning from such an experience.
