“Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and he was wearing a linen ephod… So David said to Michal, ‘It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all of his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.” 2 Samuel 6:14 & 21-22 NKJV. This verse reminded me a lot of myself at the English club last night and really all of the events we’ve put on for the students here because I tend to become a bit of a comedian at times and XD I know the Lord uses this joy and laughter to work in their hearts. Although to many people, I’m sure, I come off idiotic in my happiness and excitability but I’ve come to see it as a gift of God, to be unashamed in His joy and overflow into (at least some of)those around me! This fresh perspective of one of my most criticized attributes is truly a blessing and I feel the love of the Father in this. Praise God for using everything for His glory and His kingdom!!
