World race im coming for ya!

Hello! Im a racer !! Everything about this still feels so unreal! Im beyond thrilled to share that this fall ill be heading to Guatemala, Nepal, and Ecuador over the course of 9 months beginning in September 2020. Learning about and applying for the world race has been one of the most nerve racking yet exciting experiences. Even just through the application process I’ve learned so much about putting my faith in the Lord and knowing he’s going to lead me where He wants me. And I know this is only going to increase through this experience.

Im sure some of you are wondering why and how I got here and to be honest I’m not quite sure but im so thankful I did. Ive always had a heart for missions and serving others in different places but thought it would come along later in time. I heard about the race about a year ago and thought it sounded like the most amazing thing. But then I forgot about it.
About two months ago it popped back up, I was planning on applying to a different program but for some reason couldn’t get the race off my heart.I contemplated applying for awhile and then one day on my way home from work decided why not and sent in my application. Then I had my phone interview and things seemed to fall into place. I was overjoyed when I got accepted. The Lord has given me and the sweetest and most simple yes through this decision. He’s confirmed this so faithfully.
Im normally a pretty indecisive person so when I was told how many route options there were I thought id never be able to choose. I opened the link from my email saw Route 1 and instantly knew. I woke up one day about 3 years ago and felt Nepal placed on my heart. Its been a dream to share the gospel there and during out time in Nepal well be focusing on evangelism and kids ministry!

He is so faithful y’all! Cant wait to walk this journey with you alongside me! More updates to come!
