Im going to do my best to fill you in. Just to start off.. I have been home for almost a couple weeks now and I'm here to tell you I leave JULY 3rd!!!! WOW 9 more days here at home then Launch from Washington D.C. I can't begin to tell you what's going through my head so much excitement I'm so ready for this journey God is about to take me on.
Coming home from training I knew it was probably going to be a little hard. I had prayed talking to God about putting me in a bible study or small group something before I leave so I could grow spiritually and connect with people and believers here in Mcalester around my same age. One of my friends that goes to school at OSU in Stillwater I had no clue he was here for the summer. He had texted me asking if I would like to come to bible study that evening!!!! YES that evening of course I said YES!!! Can you see the Holy Spirit in this? I can! It has been probably one of the coolest bible studies I've gone too 🙂 two of my friends Dillon and Evan lead it. I can't even begin to put in words how awesome God is!!! I've already grown so much and also made some new friends!

that's what God has been saying to me this past week!
A squad mate and I were digging into 1 John 5:1-5
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves the child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
We were talking about his commands and what commands he was referring too. Also he takes the commands to commandments.. If you back up to 1 John 3:23 it says
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to LOVE one another as he has commanded us.
We also had talked about the rest of 1 John 5:16 there is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
What's the sin that leads to death that he's referring to? Cursing of the Holy Spirit

Yesterday was a blessed day that the Lord made!
I got invited to deliver nutrition club bags to kids in Mcalester with a loving lady and friend from church named Suzanne. While getting to deliver these sacks of snacks and food for kids she had the opportunity to share stories about the mission trip to Haiti that took place while I was at training camp for The World Race. She shared a story that touched my heart in so many ways. Suzanne told me a few stories this one definitely stood out.
They were on a bus it had a blow out a tire got a flat, so the Haiti mission team had to get off the bus and wait for the bus drivers to go get a new tire. The road made a Y you could go left or right where the bus ended up braking down was perfect because in the middle of the Y had concrete they could sit or stand to be off the busy roads.
Suzanne told me while they were waiting She stood off to the side and was looking at everybody & the busy streets of Port Au Prince & decided to talk to God and pray. Her prayer was in that situation and time that God would use it.. Do something maybe touch some bodies heart anything.. Just to use the time that they had.
The group ended up having to walk to another bus that was maybe a few blocks a couple miles away on the streets. They were a little spread out picture probably 25 or more people walking some dancing to music or just talking and walking together.
Later on that night they had a bible study back at the guest house and went over how the day went for everybody. A guy by the name of Josh said he wanted to share what went on that day and how it touched his heart.
As they were walking a little boy I believe age 11 walked right up to Josh started walking with him wanted to talk to him, Josh got a translator by the name of Bekenson. The boy was very hungry hadn't had anything to eat. Josh started giving him food along with Leela so he had something he could put in his stomach. The boy told Josh he lived in this run down hospital that's where he's slept every night since the earth quake, he also said he hasn't ate meals since then he has to go out get and find food on his own no family. The little boy asked Josh if he could put him in an orphanage where he could also go to school.
How could this not touch your heart? Or open your eyes to this world? How awesome is this? Just wait… Suzanne heard this story later that night after praying and talking to God asking him to do something whether that's opening eyes or hearts using the time they had while the bus was broken down having to walk a couple miles and He does this God uses this.. So the translators talked to the boy to make sure this was all true and they said it was the little boy wasn't lying. The translators end up giving the boy there phone numbers and money to call them. The translators told the boy they would find him a home and orphanage to be in!!! WOW
At training camp this was also my prayer because this is where God opened my eyes studying the book of James touched my heart and gave me a call for missions was in Haiti last year. When she was sharing this story all I could do was cry.. Tears of joy running down my face. God is so powerful and uses stories like this to show us things. Praise the Lord for divine appointments. I thank you!!! Father for touching hearts!!
All in all I had an awesome time getting to deliver sacks to kids and talk with Suzanne and hear stories about all the kids in Haiti and everyone's experience that they had.

Yesterday a couple of my friends Kylene and Travis asked if I wanted to watch a film called Finger of God. If you haven't watched it you've got to!!!! It's so good I can't even put into words this film Travis sums it up with mind blowing proof of Gods might and power. Also in the video it talked about LOVING all people just as Christ commands us! As I watched this my mind began to think the Holy Spirit was trying to talk to me not only do I need to do that here and now but I will be doing this all around the world loving people thru Christ showing Christ's love.
I had to leave from watching the rest of the video to go to the News Capital. A lady by the name of MJ wanted to do a story on my mission and also the last fundraiser I am having June 29th Friday at the Lakewood Gym @ 7:00 p.m. hope to see everyone there 🙂 can't wait but….
Back to what I was saying She was asking me so many questions as she was writing this story and article. I ended up being there for probably 2 hours I believe. I thought I was finished talking to her but I wasn't… We walked outside to the parking lot to get in our cars the farthest we got was the parking lot. MJ & I were carrying on a conversation.
I wish I could just go into detail about the whole conversation I might be typing all night. Lol but MJ got to share her testimony with me. It touched my heart because Gods given her this gift of writing… How cool is that?
We started talking about this article that she wrote in the newspaper that was soooo good. It was about a guy that has been begging and asking for money on a busy intersection in Mcalester. Well long story short he has been asking for money and stands on a street corner. This guy also has a record of things where he has gotten in trouble. He has done in the past all over the states horrible things I mean nasty, well as we were talking I realized I was talking about him and just agreeing saying all these horrible things about him.
Man did God convict me.
God gave me a clear picture
that picture said LOVE in huge big words. Made me think of 1 John chapter 5. God told me he is mine. My child I created him. I had to ask for forgiveness for how I acted and what I said in that moment and talking about this man that I knew nothing about other than what I hear that's bad. He also told me I need to keep His commands and love this man even tho I don't know him or his heart. Just because he has a record of sin and bad things we all do.. and God sent his Son to die on the cross and save us from ALL sin!!! & give us eternal life in Him!! And we are to LOVE all people that God has created. All I could do was thank the Lord for convicting me & forgiving me for my sins. I'm going to try and work on loving people ALL people and I ask that you join with me… Let's LOVE all Gods children and be the example and light He has called us to be!
So… My night did not end there..
Right after I left the parking lot I got a text from my friend Travis that asked for prayer. He was hanging out with some guys who didn't know Jesus. He was trying to love on them and talk to them about God & the book of life. Soooo of course I prayed for him! & as I was praying the Holy Spirit was telling me.. That this is what God has called us to do to not only love but to SHARE every chance we get to tell people, everybody about God && life Eternal Life the book of Life!!!! Sooo with this my prayer is we all can share every chance we get with someone.!
Thank you Lord for revealing yourself to me and convicting me && thank you for showing how powerful you are..thank you for a blessed day that you made!
Tomorrow I will be speaking at church and getting the opportunity to share about the World Race.. I ask that you pray for me && my nerves.. Asking the Holy Spirit to speak right through me!! Thank you guys so much!
