Jesus Jesus Jesus

    As I begin to say your name over and over, I feel your presence so fully. You bathe me in your truth. Over and over and over again, peace just floods over me, your love showers me. Your grace is always with me. The richness of your beauty is all I see. 

    Yesterday Rebecca, Shawna, Liz and I worked in the slums with His beautiful children. My heart was overflowing with His love as these children starting showing up. This was my second time in the slums, but felt like my 50th. The kids clung to us, as we clung to them. He gave this connection between us and the children that no one can break because it's His pure love. He has given me a love for children that I can't even begin to explain! 

     I do slum ministry on Monday, and Wednesday. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday I go out at night with Kristen to the red light district.  This district has children who walk around selling flowers to the men and women on the street and in the bars.  When the children get a break they come and sit with us in front of a business that's closed down.  Kristen brings play dough, books, coloring books, and a small dry erase board, and we play with them.  We draw and write together while teaching English to them.  She also brings the kids a snack and sometimes buys them dinner not knowing when they last had a meal or food.  He called Kristen to simply love on these children at night and pour into them, the Father chose me to come along side her this month. 

    I will say it’s very unpredictable. Kids may or may not show up. Kristen says she never has predictions; there are nights where she sits out there alone. The first night we went out no kids showed up.  It is so encouraging seeing Kristen not give up even when times seem difficult wondering why God has her where He does. She trusts Him, maybe she can’t see anything right now but she knows this is for His glory.  He just simply calls her to love. I'm so thankful He placed me here. We are all just called to simply love. Unconditional love from our Father. 

    Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Praise the Lord I am fully funded!  I have never had to raise this much money for anything. I knew one thing though when He called me to the world race I knew that I couldn't do it by myself.  He says we live by faith not by sight, trust.  Do you have faith?  Do you trust?  He gave me this verse a month ago.
 
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14
 
I believe nothing is too big or too small for our God.  I didn't raise this money. He used people and placed it on their hearts to give.  He had this planned before I even knew; I have faith in our Father.  I praise and thank Him for placing all of you, supporters in my life. I thank you for being obedient in Him and His calling.  I pray blessings, blessings, and even more blessings upon each and every one of you! I love you all and am praying for you! Thank you Jesus! God be praised! I will forever shout your name!
