The Father is wrecking my world! I see a straight path ahead, walking on beautiful cobblestone roads, breathtaking mountains ahead, pastel colored buildings on the sides, a ray of sunshine beaming. Walking down this path I see the Lord stripping layers and layers off of my skin. One by one flying off into the wind onto the ground behind me disappearing in the wind. I just keep walking step by step looking into the direction the Father is calling me too.
John 15:1-3 says
"I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener." He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you.
SELF
Abba is wrecking, bulldozing mySELF. All the things of mySELF that aren't of him, he is stripping them off making them disappear in the wind. In this time of destroying self, flesh has been breaking, like somewhat of a hard time. All the walls that were up with my sisters in my family team came down like glass shattering in tiny pieces all over the place.
The Lord has been doing work in every piece of my body showing me what is of him and what is not, he is getting rid of.
No life is holy and pure unless it's like Christ's life.
As we read scripture we see that God expects us to live a pure and holy life. We realize that we can't live it in our own strength. God says in Isaiah 27:5 " Take hold of My strength," and Isaiah 49:5 "My God shall be my strength." "My strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Cor. 12:9
Something I'm learning in this time…
In His strength we can put flesh, self, and worldly desires down, as we do this, Christ holds sway in our lives, and He rules supreme upon the throne of our hearts we will live Him out in our thoughts, words, and actions.
1 John 4:17
" As He is, (meaning Christ) so are we in this world." He took all of us, and only forsaking all of ourselves in exchange for ALL of Christ that it is possible for us to live this pure and holy life.
WE NEVER GET ALL OF CHRIST UNLESS WE FORSAKE ALL OF SELF. <3
