WOW! It is amazing to look back on the past 11 months and see what the Lord has done across the nations. It is a bitter sweet time as we celebrate tonight as the finish of the World Race and our return back to the U.S. I can’t describe in words how much I have been blessed by this 11 month journey. We leave tomorrow on our last travel day. I’m sad as I love the people that I have been in such close corridors with this past year and will miss each and everyone dearly. It seems to be a common occurrence in my life as I now have even more friends all over the world. I’ve learned that goodbyes are always temporal among friends and a see you later is always more appropriate. This month ended strong with kingdom journeys (Sports Ministry) as we were able to poor out our last bits of energy on many kids who have a desperate need for attention. We were located in Ocean view a small town right on the west coast of the cape of Africa. It was so beautiful and an amazing end to 11 months with a strong ministry.

We leave tomorrow, our last day, at 2:30 to start our long travel day to NYC. We’ll actually arrive in the U.S. on July 31st (My birthday) which is an extreme blessing and one of my friends who is somewhere in the world bought my plane ticket back to Austin to see my lovely niece — such a blessing to me! Thank you.

As I look back on this year I am blown away by the amazing people I have met, the cultures I’ve experienced, and mostly the stories and fond memories I’ve collected. Words literally can’t express the impact that the race has made on my life even after already being introduced to the missionary life and third-world countries. Although the race is over, life continues rather normal as I still seek to serve the Lord and discover the plans He has for me. In all honesty I have no idea what I will be doing in the year to come. It will be a time of waiting and discerning what the Lord has in store. I do believe the Lord has called me to travel around and see family, friends and supporters within the next two months. I would love to see each and every one of you and plan on traveling until I get tired of driving or telling stories of my journey. I can really only say so much in a blog and would love to visit each of you to give more details and answer questions. Currently, the tentative plan is to travel through Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and possibly hit Florida as I tentatively go up the East coast to PA. I love to travel as you can see. Thank you to everyone who has supported me financially or through prayer as the world race was completely worth every dollar and day.

If you would like a visit and we’re facebook friends just let me know on this blog or email me at [email protected] with a state and town. Thank you all once again all your support was very much needed and appreciated.

Prayer Requests:

  • Travel day tomorrow to NYC!
  • Smooth transition back into the U.S.
  • That my squad and I will continue to remain in Christ focused on His will and not get distracted from the chaos of life.
  • Protection as we travel tomorrow, but also as I travel on the road these upcoming months (Hopefully I drive on the “Right” side)
  • Prayer for the 11 countries we have been a part of on this journey and all our ministry contacts and churches throughout the nations.
