Halfway home! I have been on the race 6 months now with 6 more to go. I have traveled from Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cambodia and am currently in Malaysia. This journey has taught me more than I anticipated and has been a huge blessing to me and my faith in Christ as I see him provide for me, my teammates and all the ministries we get to see. It’s amazing to see what the Lord is doing in each country and hear all the amazing stories from truly radical missionaries who have served in these countries for years. Traveling from country to country I have learned so much about culture and religion. The religions in the past few countries have predominately been Catholicism, Buddhism, and Islam Next month in India I will be able to experience Hinduism and its culture. Being at the halfway point is bitter sweet as I have enjoyed my experience thoroughly and have learned and developed my relationship with Christ all the more. The hardest part is not the hard floors, lack of food, or continual travel but being away from family and friends especially my niece!

Here is my first video/slideshow of the race! Hopefully this does a satisfactory job of showing what I have been up to and experienced these past few months and doesn’t bore you. I know it does not completely do it justice as there has been so much that has happened. Special recognition to everyone who allowed me to borrow your photos and videos to make this….as most of them I did not take!

Prayer Requests:

  • We travel to India a closed country on March 1st
  • Pray that all my squad mates will reach their final support deadline
  • Praise God for  His great provision and Guidance in our lives
  • Pray that God will continue in His work in me and my teammates lives

It took me 3-4 times longer to save and upload this using windows live movie maker than the actual video!
