Here I am sitting in the Iglesia Adonia in Chincha, Peru and God is wrecking all that I am. Everything I have ever known has been torn down and changed. Kyle Stinnett as you knew him is dead and gone.
It all started at N Squad’s first debrief in Lima, Peru. For the sake of keeping others stories their own I cannot go into extreme detail on how this transformation started, but I can tell you that it has been a very rocky road. First I will have you know that my heart has not been fully engaged to all that God has been doing thus far on the race, or in my life. My heart has been captivated by something of lesser value than the love of God and I’ve ran to that idol in my life for affirmation and emotional satisfaction. At debrief this idol was brought to my attention and taken away from me not by AIM or its staff, but rather by God Himself.
I never will forget the morning that all of this began. I sat in the common area of the Hostal we were staying at and wrote out a prayer to God. The prayer included my realization of the idol I have kept for so long and I asked God for freedom from it and to literally man handle me if I didn’t cooperate to His will. – A dangerous prayer to pray, particularly if you’re not willing to endure the way God chooses to do it – And God did just what I asked. He took away my idol and revealed to me Truth; Truth I haven’t seen for at least 3 years if ever.
This experience was an awakening of my heart and it set me back into a deep depression that if truth be told is still lingering in my being as I write this blog. However, death has been overcome and Jesus has taken His place on the thrown and I do not say this lightly or in a cheesy fashion. It is Truth, and because of this Truth I am able to stand before the foundations of the earth and proclaim this:

- KYLE STINNETT IS A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART!

- KYLE STINNETT SEEKS OUT PEACEFULLNESS EVEN IN TIMES OF TROUBLE!
- KYLE STINNETT IS PATIENT WHEN PATIENCE ISHARD TO BEAR!
- KYLE STINNETT IS KIND TO EVERYONE IN ALL SITUATIONS!
- KYLE STINNETT IS GENTLE TO THOSE WHO HE COMES ACROSS!
- KYLE STINNETT IS FAITHFUL TO HIS GOD, KING, AND FATHER!
- KYLE STINNETT HAS THE SELF-CONTROL TO DIE TO HIMSELF AND LIVE FOR THE MOST HIGH!
- KYLE STINNETT IS AN AMBASSADOR IN GOD’S MIGHTY KINGDOM!
- KYLE STINNETT IS NOT BOUND BY CHAINS, BUT FREE INSIDE THE THINGS OF CHRIST!
- KYLE STINNETT IS GOD’S MIGHTY WARRIOR!
- KYLE STINNETT IS EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY!
- KYLE STINNETT IS GOD’S FRIEND!
- KYLE STINNETT IS A SON OF THE KING OF KINGS!
- KYLE STINNETT SHOWS MERCY AND GRACE TO ALL HE COMES ACROSS!
- KYLE STINNETT IS POWERFUL!
- KYLE STINNETT HAS A VOICE!
- KYLE STINNETT MATTERS!
- KYLE STINNETT HAS EVERYTHIN TO GIVE!
These are but a few Truth’s that the Lord has spoken over my life in the past week and a half. They are Truths that will remain True all throughout eternity. These Truths resemble not who Kyle Stinnett will one day be, but who he is today. We must not be overcome by the lies of our enemies for the lies have been broken in Christ’s name!
