Here in Chaing Mai, Thailand my team has had the privilege to meet and do a little bit of ministry alongside P Squad's Parent Vision Trip. It has been a very impact full time that often has left me in tears.
One of the first mornings we arrived we were invited to come alongside P Squad for some morning worship. Walking into that room I felt the Spirit was there and knew that God wanted to do something huge! At first everyone was worshipping in their seats and by the end of it people were shouting out declarations, worshipping with full hearts, and accepting the love of God.
When I began to worship and pray I kept getting the word "freedom". I prayed over the room and asked God to set the chains free that bound the parents and racers. I asked Him for a special blessing over the parents and as I did this God told me to go do it! – Now I have to admit I have had sons struggles being bold in my faith and really stepping into what God has told me to do and it took me minute to follow through with what I'd been given.
I slowly walked up to the front of the room and introduced myself between a song. Never having met these people before and having God tell me to speak things into existence and pray a blessing over them wasn't exactly a walk in the park for me. After getting their acceptance for prayer I opened my mouth and the Holy Spirit took over. He had me pray that the parents would be blessed financially, but also to become poor in Spirit. For their hearts to break for Hod and got a fire to be ignited that the enemy could never put out.
After I prayed the room was on fire. Tears began to shed and God began healing and restoring relationships. The parents came together and said "Yes" to God. They accepted the challenge of choosing God over all else they've been taught. They have chosen to live a life full of Kingdom and walk in Gods authority and power.
For future and current racers I urge you to invite your parents to this trip. My heart cries out desperately for you to accept this once on a lifetime opportunity. God is on the business if healing and restoring and He wants to heal you. I wish that my parents could have come to this event just to see God work in them and heal them all the more.
So that's my advice. Take a chance. Dare to fail. Walk in God's Power! You won't regret it!
