Dear Future/Current World Racer,

On your race you will probably get tired of wearing the same clothes over and over and over and over and over again. This will entice you to purchase new clothes while on your trip (which will be more than likely encouraged by month 5 by your team mates and those around you). In America MOST people wash the clothes they buy before wearing them, however on the World Race that may not always be an option.

WARNING: What I am about to tell you may sound appalling to those who have not experienced the World Race, but let me assure you…it should be!

I purchased some red Thai pants 2 months ago along with a white dress shirt. Over the past two months I have worn both of them multiple times and thought I had washed them both before…until I did laundry today…

Now I have red Thai pants and what would seem to be a brand new pink dress shirt! – Yes…this means I have not washed the red pants in 2 months :/… But on a brighter note I can now support Breast Cancer awareness month in style! 😉

So what is the moral of this story? WASH YOUR CLOTHES AS FREQUENTLY AS POSSIBLE WHILE ON THE WORLD RACE AND SEPARATE YOUR WHITES ON THE FIRST WASH!
