I am nearly at the end of the race. When I left on the race I had no concept of what I would do afterwards. God told me that the race is what I should do and I did it with little more thought. Now he is telling me to continue being a missionary through Adventures in Missions (AiM).
CGA (Center for Global Action) is a sort of discipleship mission school run by Adventures in missions. It has 2 main tracks you can take: Field Leadership, and worship. As far back as Albania I have felt God telling me to become a squad leader. Squad leaders are the people who go between all of the teams and disciple them and make sure things are going alright. On my squad we have 2 of these leaders, Mark and Hillary. I have asked them how to become a squad leader and one thing they both kept mentioning is CGA. More recently I have felt God nudging me to sign up for CGA. I am now accepted into CGA under there Field Leadership Tract and I AM SO EXITED!!!! This means I will be moving down to Gainesville Georgia in the fall! After 2 semesters of CGA I will try to start squad leading which means I will be gone for either 9 or 6 months at a time leading world race trips all over the world!
CGA is about $6,000 per semester, and they expect me to get a part time job once I am down there. I am planning on working full time with my Dad so save up the $6,000 and then who knows what will happen for the second semester. AiM Has set this up as something they expect me to fundraise for. I feel weird though because I feel like I am asking for money for a sort of school. That being said if you are at all interested in donating financially you can support me through my blog Here.
The part I am most exited about is who I get to be around when I am down there. Several people from my squad are signed up and a bunch more live in the area. Besides that the people that work for AiM are easily some of the most awesome people I have ever met!
I am so exited for the things God has in store for me. Seeing him slowly unfold his plan for me has been so cool and he is not even done yet! All I know is his next step for me but I am SO EXITED FOR IT!
