How can I sum up my last nine days in Tennessee preparing for my upcoming 11 month World Race trip?

Two words: Exciting and Thought-Provoking

Exciting: The thought of meeting 50+ people I'm going to spend the next year with scared the daylights out of me. Would I like them? Would they accept me? Will we mesh well together? These questions were answered in the first few days when I met people and saw their hearts for the Lord. God has blessed me with a squad that has members with an intimate relationship with God. What a blessing! I have been specifically praying to connect well with other men, and I think I have been introduced to people who will sharpen, challenge, and encourage me.

Thought Provoking: Ok, so the worship and teachings have been different than I have experienced before. I have been desperately praying for wisdom and discernment, that the Spirit may show me what is right and true. One thing we have heard a lot about is that Jesus is freedom. It's true. Christ is the ultimate freedom.
2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

However, we as believers KNOW it to be true that God, in his goodness and loving ways, has given us commands and models for living in a godly manner. WE must actively pursue holiness. We need to practice godliness. We should honor the king in everything
1 Peter 2:16
Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil, live as servants of God.

Overall, I am incredibly excited for the race to start. I will continue to strive and pray for an effective ministry at Noah's Ark for the rest of the summer, then I'm off on World RAce the start of September. To God be the Glory.

Lastly, I barely made the first financial support goal of $3,000 by training camp. Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness. I am trying to raise another $3,000 by mid August. Please help if you can.
