Hello everybody! As I write, it’s easy to look outside and think I’m in Colorado. There is no mountains, of course, and no one speaks English, but the skies are a crisp blue, humidity is low, and the high for the day is about 55, with a low of 30.

Our time here has been really good so far. We are paired with two other co-ed teams, so there is 4 other guys and 13 girls. I have absolutely loved having more men around. We hang out at night and hard-boil eggs together over a wood burning stove. It provides all we need: fellowship and protein. Add that to some awesome pillow talk with the guys, and it makes for a great month.

Days have been really full. I have loved having 1-2 hours of worship every day. I am in an environment that just encourages so much depth and intimacy with God. Ministry has been really good as well. I have been working on several projects, including a chicken coop to help the church we work at to be self-supported. It’s sweet to see all the things I learned about construction in Romania translate perfectly to Moldova. Our contact here, Vitalie, is a super passionate local, and he has a vision called Sinai 30 to plant 30 self-supported churches in 30 years in Moldova.

Our team of 7 has also been really healthy lately. We have been blessed with unity for most of the race, and now we are just trying to fight for depth with each other. I have enjoyed leading the team, and I have learned new things in leading only 1 guy and 5 women. I have been learning more about how to love and lead women well.

We head to Nepal in a week and a half!!! We land on November 10th. I am SO FREAKING EXCITED. If I could go to any country in the world, NEPAL IS MY PICK. I am praying for an awesome month of ministry and tons of sweet adventure.

***MEDICAL SCHOOL UPDATE: I just found out I have been put on the waitlist for Creighton. I was hoping to get either a yes or no, but I know the Lord will direct and guide me. Jeremiah 17:7-8 has been going through my head every since I got the news: But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought, and never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
May I be like that tree, putting all my trust in the Lord!

Love you guys. Thanks so much for your support and prayers.

P.S. Last weekend was sick. We connected with U-squad in the capital (Chisinau), a squad going into their 11th and final month. We spent the weekend meeting with them and worshipping. I had some awesome conversations with their men, and now one of their teams is actually at our ministry site for the rest of the month. It has been a huge blessing.

P.P.S. Our contact asked me to play drums for church, so I have been helping with worship, which has been sweet! I also have had a big desire to learn guitar for the purpose of leading worship, so I have been learning.
