Hey my brother Wrote this blog for me back at the end of March. He is now home from the race and getting ready to get married (so excited for him). I miss him dearly but glad he is being obedient to God and what He has for Jacob. Please subscribe to Jacobs blog (www.mercytriumps.net)  he is a great writer and a man with a lot of knowledge about the word. Miss you brother.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jacob Roccanti and I am on Team Petrichor with your friend, brother, and mentor Kyle. I am writing this blog on his behalf and want to share with you my perspective on this man we all love. I have been with Kyle for three months and I have seen him every single day. While I might not know him as good as some of you, it is possible I have seen him in different scenarios than you are not used to seeing him in. That is what I am going to share with you.

First off I absolutely love Kyle. He is truly my brother and I know we will be very close long after the “World Race” ends. While in age Kyle is younger than me, he has taught me a lot about my faith in a short time. We have mutually benefited from the healthy conflict of ideas/doctrines/styles of ministry that we have individually.

Kyle has taught me how to embrace my inner child like faith. When I started the race I was serious, too serious. Kyle was the one who taught me that this life with God can be even more fun than the secular world. He taught me to laugh a lot and to let the small things roll off my back. Kyle has a joy that I am sure many of you enjoy and praise God because it is contagious on this team.

Kyle has also taught me to embrace the different facets of the Trinity. I know God the Father and I am well acquainted with Jesus my Savior, but the Holy Spirit was still a little on the uncomfortable side for me. I receive visions, dreams, words from the Lord and starting out I wasn’t confident enough to speak them into existence. Kyle has had experiences with God that I have never even heard about before. He showed me that God while the same today, tomorrow, and forever gives us all very different experiences with Him. God is so big he can never be “figured out” and Kyle empowered me to embrace that in my own life.

Finally Kyle has spoken great prophesy over me. He has a keen gifting of hearing from the Lord and when the Lord speaks, Kyle opens his mouth to. He has spoken over me truths that I had not previously accepted in my walk. “Jacob you are a general in God’s army.” He has spoken that over me many many times. While nearly every person I come into contact with says something similar, it never empowered my soul. God knows how to speak to me, how I understand, and how I believe. God spoke these words to Kyle and Kyle having freely received, freely gave to me. He breathed life into me, not because it was eloquent words but rather because it came from heaven.

For those of you who are supporting Kyle in prayer or financially let it be known that this man is advancing God’s Kingdom, not only in the countries that we travel to, but in the lives of his teammates. He is partnering with God and advancing God’s Kingdom in me. He is a blessing to me and I pray for him constantly. If you have not gotten behind Kyle, I ask you now. Choose to partner with God in Kyle’s life. Thanks for taking the time to read. May God bless!

Great memories with this man.
