I am sitting in star bucks charging my phone :). Last night stayed in a dog park down town Atlanta near midtown. Not going to lie was a Lil scared but I know angels where watching over me. Went to the national bank museum here and educated my self a Lil. But let me tell you about the God I encounters yesterday!
Scott- a young man flying from San Fran to visit Georgia state football! Big old linemen that I sat next to on the air plane. Had some time to talk and got to share about my trip and my testimony of how I came to The Lord. We connected really well and he said he was in a transition of turning back to the lord an I was another sign to him that God is real and he wants a relationship with him. It was truly a beautiful thing. So encouraged 🙂
Then I took the tram down town met William. A homeless man and we began talking asked him about his story and God. He shared a painful hard story about his family and how he got on the streets. Then for about 4 or 5 blocks almost 10 minutes he quoted verses! I said a couple but it was truly humbling experience. Then we went and ate at a awesome burger joint Called checkers Lil hole in the wall. Little South special, there chicken sandwiches tasted like real chicken 🙂 then we parted ways and I prayed for his addiction to coke and his life. He is going through a program now and God is healing him and he knows he still has a purpose. He was touched I was touched. Holy Spirit really made him self known. HugEd and exchanged numbers ha
Then i went to star bucks and joined these 3 black gentlemen for bible study Donnell, kenny, and akrofi. Got so blessed talked about being a light in this World! These men where anointed and Godly men so much wisdom and passion for the word and Jesus! There where like shadrack meshack and aBendigo walking in the fire with Jesus. They prayed for me and my family. Then I found out that they where starting a church in January so I prayed over them. God is just so awesome! Really
Then I met a man called tony on his break from work. Got to share about trip and pray for him just so encouraging!! Plus got to share about my trip with a bunch of other people who asked!
We are called to be imitators of Jesus! Ephesians 5:1 tells us to be followers of God, as dear children. The word followers in the Greek means to imitate. We are to imitate God as a child does his father. If a child imitates his father he will talk walk and imitate every move!
