There was a family we prayed for who's daughter was in the hospital with a tumor. Two days later, we walk by the house and they were having a funeral. They invited us in to pray over the coffin. We prayed a Bold prayer and asked Jesus to raise her from the dead. Nothing happened. We mourned and cried with the family. They brought the mother in, who was sick and in pain. We prayed for healing and mourning. This is one of the harder things I have had to grapple with.

That same day, after lunch, when we were on our way to the children's hospital, we made an unexpected stop at a funeral service at a church. This 20 year old man was murdered for his motorcycle during a robbery. He had been a mentor and led Christian, one of our hosts, to Christ. Again, we prayed for him to be raise from the dead. Nothing happened. The mother was sitting next to the casket and we prayed for her while she mourned. It is extremely hard to see mothers crying out for their babies that die at a young age.

I had such a heavy heart that day.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" Matthew 5:4

That day, we were able to comfort these mothers and family members. We were also able to weep with them.

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep" Romans 12:15

I had a really hard time because Jesus says, "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give." Matthew 10:8

I had faith to raise the dead. I prayed, but nothing happen.

I believe when someone passes, their assignment is done on earth. I also believe when someone has a tumor at such a young age and dies and when someone is murdered, it is not a part of God’s will. We live in a fallen and corrupt world. I know these deaths are not from God. So God, tell me why?!?!

Someone told me, "Kyle it's not your job to raise them from the dead. It is the man inside of you that does it." It's all on Jesus. I don't bring salvation or healing or even change Jesus does. We are called to pray and expect it to happen.

I believe this year our team will help the blind see, the deaf hear, the crippled walk and the dead brought to life. Thousands will be saved and discipleship will happen! Hallelujah!

Jesus raised multiple people from the dead. Lazarus was dead for three days! His sister said there was no point in coming anymore. People always say this person did not get healed because of their faith. Lazarus did not have any faith… he was DEAD. Jesus has all the faith and authority. As a result, Lazarus was brought back to life.

Jesus also raised another girl from the dead. He said, "child arise". He told her dad, "do not be afraid any longer, only believe and she will be made well." Also Jesus came up and touched the coffin as they where carrying the dead body out of the city. He simply said ," arise" The dead man sat up and began to speak.

If you are having a hard time grasping this concept, it's ok. In Mark 9:24, there is a father who wants his son healed from this demonic spirit. The man says to Jesus, "if you can do anything; take pity on us help us!" And Jesus said to him, "if you can?" All things are possible to him who believes. Immediately the boys father cried out and said, " I do believe, help my unbelief." The boy was healed.

If you have faith, declare you have faith and ask Jesus to help your unbelief.

If you have doubt, ask Jesus to help your unbelief. Because Jesus says “my spirit is coming with power and we will do even greater things than me.”

Wow, that's crazy! Be ready for it and step out in faith! Be ready! When you ask for healing, it will happen!

"He must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For the man who doubts should not expect anything from The Lord." James 1:6

Jesus did not only raise the dead! He died for us and he rose! Jesus has also risen us from the dead. Believers were once dead and now we are alive.

Do not let anyone tell you your testimony is not powerful! Anyone who has come to Jesus is the greatest miracle we can see. And you where once dead and now you are alive. You were risen from the dead! Amen

2 Corinthians 5:17 "If you are in Christ you are a new creation the old life is dead and the new life is here."

We are called to die to ourselves. Jesus says, " if anyone wishes to come after Me he (must) deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it." Luke 9:23

Dying to yourself means putting your wants and desires aside and doing what God wants. You are a living sacrifice. Sacrifice your time, money, jobs, cars, bad relationships, and addictions … sacrifice your whole life. It's not always going to be easy. Dying to self and getting rid of our selfish desires is a hard process.

You are a living sacrifice. There is no end to sanctification. We are not saved more than once, but we are out of fellowship with Jesus many times. Salvation is being saved, a readiness to meet Jesus at any moment. We must have a decreasing of self with an increasing Christlikeness(John 3:30) More of Jesus and less of ourselves.

Our set purpose is to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. This is the great order. You are going through a Daily changing.

When we remove our selfish wants, the Jesus inside of you is easier to see. When we die, Jesus comes alive. People will see Jesus in your eyes. You will come alive, when you die to yourself.

Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ( Romans 12:2)

Allow your mind to be renewed. Stop believing all the lies that this world tells you. And believe that you have the mind of Christ! Because, it's true. You do!

Read this quote a couple times.

" submit to Almighty God. The human spirit actually may be in great activity in a person who has offered himself to God. Your " I" must be knocked out and your personality must be fully surrendered to God. God moves me to see that there is "no good thing" in me "Romans 7:18). No! You can try and polish up the "old man" (Romans 6:6), but he is still the old creation, worthless and dead. Rise to the higher revelation with God"

Allow Jesus to breath life into the Jesus that lives inside of you.

Jesus learned obedience by the things in which he suffered. He lived freely so Father God could enact His will through Him.

We learn obedience when we suffer! And die to self. We live freely so that we can do Jesus will. The good works that he has set before us. (Ephesians 2:10)

"You shall love The Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as your self. And Jesus said you have answered correctly; do this and you will LIVE. " Luke 10:27

He may be talking about physical life and not dying, but I believe you will not be truly living life until you love The Lord your God with heart, mind, and soul. Your whole being. If you feel like there is something missing in life, it is true. You don’t need a new car, more money, a better job, or a different man or women in your life… you need Jesus. And even if you have Jesus, you may feel like your missing something. Faith without works is dead. You need to live life! To live life, you must die to self and that means loving Jesus with your everything! That means everything! Surrendering your everything. I am not going to say Jesus is going to take away your passions, but he may just use them in a different way to further his kingdom.

Start living your life by dying to your selfish desires everyday. And remember your old self is dead. Stop trying to bring it back to life! I have died and now I live. It is better than anything this world has to offer.
