Wow I am about to embark on a journey of a life time! Our flight leaves at 5pm and I will be headed to Guatemala city! Then we will have a 6 hr bus ride to where we will be doing ministry. This month we are going to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala! We will be serving with two other teams month one. Our ministry contact has 7 different ministries in mind. From street ministry to orphanages to the dump to a building project. More than likely we will do a combination of serving projects in month one. I am so excited after all the preparation and all the dreaming that we will finally be out changing the world!
I flew into Atlanta early to run a half marathon with some friends on my squad! I ran well for not training but will never run one again with out training! 
I ran 1hr 43minutes for those of you who care, a 7:54 mile pace. I learned a lot on this race because its going to be similar to the world race. In the since of I am going to get tired and mentally it is going to be hard at times but Jesus is my rock and my strength!
At launch we have had some amazing worship and teaching sessions. The first day was a little crazy they let me know that they had switched me to another team. I am bummed but at the same time I am excited for what God has for me on this new team. God is still on the thrown! Plus I will be partnering with my old team the first two months. so we will see plenty of each other! My new team name is Petrichor which means rain after a long drought. I believe we are going to see a lot of fruit on this world race. The harvest is plentiful!
Tonight in worship the Lord showed me this beautiful picture of the sun setting upside down. Showing me that my world is about to be turned upside down. Also that the gospel is is going to turn this world upside down for Jesus. So beautiful.
I have been learning the guitar I know 6 chords and I am getting strumming down, not bad. There is this song that goes " I will wait for you, as long as you need me to. Strength will rise up in me." Then it says " I want to rise up on wings like eagles I want to run and never stop.I want to climb your holy mountain. I want to be with you my God" That is my heart right now! so hungry for the presence Of God. There is so much more the Lord has for you and me. we Just have to desire his presence and go after it. I also herd this quote this week where we need to speak from heaven and not to heaven. Meaning, speaking from a place of authority because that is what our heavenly father has given us. A place of authority.
I am so excited to bring the kingdom of God where ever I go and join and encourage the missionaries in Guatemala. Might post a video of launch but no promises love ya'll and thank you for your prayers and support!
