I'm blogging 🙂 Thank you for all your prayers and financial support! I just wanted to up date you all on where I am at financially: current funds are at 4,050.00 and need to be at 8,000.00 by December 15. I need the other half totaling 16,500.00 by June, 2014. The official launch date is January 9, 2014 (team meeting in Atlanta on Jan 6th). It's so close it's crazy!
Wow my jaw is floored at everything Jesus has been doing in my life since training camp. My team of 6 others are David, Paul, Kehinde, Kim, Courtney and Caroline. All are from different parts of the country — from Texas to Arkansas to Virginia to Ohio — really all over. I love them all; they are awesome and have different gifts and talents. I am excited for my new brothers and sisters.
Our team name is DEPENDENT BY FAITH. We chose this name because we are going to be depending on God time after time throughout this entire year. There are many unknowns — whether for food, water, shelter, health, comfort peace, joy, healing, love — no mater what the need is we are depending on father God. As people we should depend on God like we depend on air to breath, water to drink and food to eat. Without those things you die. When we don't depend on God we spiritually die and Scripture also says sin leads to death. Jesus holds our every breath, he sustains us as our bread of life and provides a kind of water where we will never thirst again! Depend on God in your situation. If financial, career, family, sickness, depression, living situation. Depend on God because he takes care of His children!
By faith you have been healed, your faith has made you whole. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can tell this mountain to throw itself into the ocean! By faith Peter walked on water toward Jesus. By faith Joshua marched around the walls of Jericho and they fell. By faith Elijah prayed it would not rain by faith he called down fire from the heaven.
There are hundreds of times where faith is displayed in the Old and New Testament. What we are called to do is have faith. The kind of faith where you expect things to happen! There is no doubt that Jesus is going to come through! Jesus says, I tell you the truth, if you believe in me you will do the same thing I have done and yes you will do even greater things then I have done. Why? Because I am going to my father. And if you ask for anything in my name
I will do it for you. Then the father's glory will be shown through the son. If you ask for anything in my name I will do it. " John 14:12-14. Faith is like the wind you can't see it but you know it's there! You can't see God but you see the results of God you feel God just like you feel the wind against your face, hair and see the results of the wind.
Every time you feel the wind let it be a reminder that God is breathing life into you and take a deep breath. Go and have faith that can remove the mountains in your life. Have the faith that can slay giants in your life. Have the faith that splits the sea in your life and God highlights your path.
You are loved. By faith change your world, your family, co-workers — the lives you encounter through Christ and your life!
