Dear Family, Friends, Brothers, and Sisters,
I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write to you to let you know about some new things that are happening in my life. God is moving in such a powerful way. In seeking to do His will, I submissively and obediently accepted a mission at the beginning of the year. I took an opportunity to go on a week-long mission trip, with my home church, to Peru. During this time, God opened my eyes to our world’s need to know our Savior. He gave me a new vision to see the world through His eyes and not my own. He sparked a fire within me to see everyone as His child, and created a love in my heart for all people. All the more, the biggest lesson that I learned was that everyone needs our Savior and deserves to know His grace, love, and mercy. In that moment, God broke my heart and called me to live out Mark 16:15, “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” This challenged me to begin witnessing to people on campus at my school, as well as to others who simply cross my path.
In accepting this call to share my faith, the more I began to pour into the lives of others, the greater the desire to share grew. In having this fresh and exciting urgency to share the gospel, I learned of a program called the World Race. The World Race is a consecutive 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. As I began to consider this incredible opportunity, I felt conflicted as I did not want to leave my family and friends for such a long period of time. Nevertheless, God began to remind me of sacrifice, and His commission to us. Then it simply hit me one day as a friend said to me, “Why not you, Kyle?” He was right, why not me? So, with God’s urging, and peaceful guidance, I’ve accepted the call to go on this 11 month adventure, ministry, community development, and self- discovery. During this journey, my team and I will serve in partnerships with churches and ministries in local communities in order to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and will ultimately bring restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. I will become a World Racer who serves the brokenhearted, shares God’s unconditional love, promotes ultimate healing, and helps lead a lost world to Christ.
I am so blessed and beyond grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs! Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. Therefore, I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in my ministry. I must raise $15,000 in order to deliver the gospel in the World Race. This expense covers all of my financial needs in the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end date. If 25 people pledge $50 a month for 12 months, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip. However, if you cannot make that type of commitment, any financial contribution would be greatly appreciated.
I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, inviting you to share in this ministry. If you are interested in donating, please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions (AIM) and return the response card with your donation to Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470. The response card will provide AIM with the necessary information to send you a receipt for your donation. If you would prefer to make your donation online, you may do so by visiting my blog site at kylehyche.theworldrace.org. Just click the “Support Me” link in the upper left side of the page and complete your donation as instructed.
I am so excited to see how God is moving in my life and in the lives of others. Thank you in advance for your consideration, love, prayers for me, as well as my family, and for financial support. May God bless you as you prayerfully consider partnering with me in advancing the Kingdom. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve, but also to you. May God receive all the praise, honor, and glory for this opportunity, and may you be as blessed by your giving, as I will be by going.
In Christ,
Kyle Hyche
