BOLIVIA
Sorry it has been so long since the last update!
I am now on month three on the Race, it is truly flying by. We are now in Cochabamba, which is about 7 hours southeast of La Paz, Bolivia. Our ministry this month has been incredible so far. We are partnering with a ministry called Casa De Amor. It is an incredible children´s home filled with beautiful kids. It is one of the only children´s homes in Bolivia that gets government referred children. And one of a handful that do adoptions. We get to love on the babies and show them affection in the form of playing games and holding the little ones. There are three homes total, one is birth to 3 and the other is 4 to 8. The stories of how the children arrived are heartbreaking, but I am thankful that these precious kids have somewhere to stay.
There is a little boy named Josec who until a few months ago was a street kid. He was found roaming the streets by himself at 2am. He is three. Casa de Amor has provided him with a second chance. All of these kids have a different stories, but now share a similar hope at Casa de Amor.
On another note I just got out of the hospital! I had a very rough bacterial infection. I got three iv´s and some strong meds and am feeling great now. Thank you all for your prayers and love. It was a very interesting experience, especially when I barely speak the language of the doctors! God is so good, and He got me through all of it stronger than before.
I have lots of blogs, pictures and a video or two that will be up as soon as I get more reliable internet.
In three weeks we are headed to Albania! Pray for the teams as we transition to a new continent!
