Im Kyle and welcome to my blog.
First off, a little about myself. I studied sociology in college and worked for a few amazing ministries/non-profits while working toward my degree. I have no idea what is next after the race, and I like that. I love the Church and my church, Passion City Church. (passioncitychurch.org) I am all about the outdoors, I love fishing, backpacking and mountain biking. I am the second of four children and I love my family like crazy.
Why am I going on the World Race?
I have been a Christian for quite a while and have lived my new life serving and enjoying God. Yet, there was something inside of me that was craving more. I felt a major disconnect between what I knew to be truth and what I experienced in my daily life. I knew that the World Race was the next step in my faith’s journey from my head to my heart.
Ephesians 5:1-2(Message) Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
