Never heard that word before today? Same. Just made it up. As of three months ago I joined a Life Group (basically a men’s bible study) at Rock City Church. My friend Chris West was a part of it and invited me to go with him. Gonna be honest, went to the first meeting thinking it was gonna be lame and wasn’t gonna go again. Only this one time so Chris would be happy. I was so wrong. Having expectations sucks but that’s another blog post. It was awesome. These men were straight crushing it at living in fellowship. We went through the book of Ecclesiastes. Spoilers everything will ultimately became meaningless except for God. But that fellowship I experienced with these men of God was unreal and it was raw and good. Meeting with men passionately following Jesus in the late twenties to early forties was so encouraging. And so far the men in my life group have become my biggest supporting for going overseas and serving The Kingdom. So in closing, if you’re a guy surround yourself with men who also love Jesus and grow with them. It’s great and you’re gonna learn a ton.
