Hey everybody who reads my blog (still trying to figure out this demographic) just wanted to give you an update on my trip and the interesting topics surrounding my trip. I finished up training week last week and it was an incredible experience. God did a lot to ease my mind about traveling around the world, and the Holy Spirit brought our team together in an amazing way. One update is our trip itinerary has changed. Due to the political climate of Israel we will not be serving in Israel and Egypt but instead will finish our trip in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
My family and I are flying to New York on June 11th for a mini family vacation, and our team will be flying from New York City to Kiev, Ukraine on June 16th. Here is an update on God’s work through my support account. I am approaching $10,000 so I can leave on the 16th (I needed $8500 to launch). By December I will need to have $14300 and I know God will be faithful to see that goal through. For those of you that have supported me, I wanted to give you an update on what our finances will be over the next year. We learned at training camp what our budget for the year will be.
$460 a month which is broken down into $12 a day
The $12 a day is broken down to:
$3.75 food
$5.25 lodging
$3 daily transportation
and $90 long distance travel per month
$10 misc supplies per month
I just wanted to give everyone who has been gracious enough to support me an update on how the money will be spent over the next year.
Please continue to pray for our team as I know challenges will come. Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill us with the fruits of the spirit and distills the fears in our hearts. I will try my best to keep updating everybody twice a week. God bless.
