Before I say anything, I just want to thank all of you that have supported me on this trip.  As of last week I am fully funded.  That means thanks to God first and foremost, and your generosity, I’ve been able to raise $14,300 over the past year to fund this trip that God called me into.  Thank you so much for your support.  Our whole squad is fully funded also, so as to be expected God came through and poured out his financial blessings on our squad.

So Christmas is fast approaching.  We are planning some fun times to celebrate Christmas here in Thailand, but obviously missing our families and friends will be tough during Christmas time.  I’ve never been away from home during Christmas time, and its killing my family, my grandmother cried on the phone last time I talked to her.  So here is our plans for Christmas.  On Christmas Eve we have the day off our team is splitting up and doing 1 of 3 things.  Riding elephants, playing with tigers, or driving motorcycles around town. I plan on playing with Tigers.  We will meet up with the two girl teams Christmas Eve evening and have dinner and a little Christmas party.  On Christmas morning we will spend the morning with the girls from Remember Nhu.  We will watch them open presents, have a church service and play games.  We also plan on taking them to Dairy Queen as a Christmas treat.  So although I will be missing my family, Christmas will be a great celebration here in Thailand.  Christ has come into this world and thats a reason to celebrate.

So what have we been doing since my last post.  Work wise, we’ve finished up the ditch which consisted of about 100 yards of digging plus cutting across the road once again to drain into a creek.  We continue to play with the girls every night.  Here Here is a good blog to read about our time with the girls, written by my new teammate Alex Cole, I couldn’t have said it better myself.  Over the past weekend we guys have had a day of playing air soft (shooting each other with plastic pellets) and on Saturday a bunch of us rented motorbikes and rode around town.  We rode our motorbikes on top of a mountain that overlooked the city.  On top of the mountain, which was freezing by the way, we saw a cave, a temple and incredibly foggy sky.
So Merry Christmas to everyone back home.  I miss y’all.  Christ is alive.  Here is my Christmas present to you, some fun pictures to look at (sorry not the best present).  Enjoy.
