Hi friends!!!
We’ve been in Guatemala for 2 weeks now. Fun fact: it’s also known as the Land of the Eternal Spring.
With that, I think this is a place of new life, new growth, and new purpose. We’re gonna take in the parts of God that are sweet and simple- like a lilly- and the sturdy and rooted- like an oak. We’re gonna learn how to balance on our baby legs, with God as our teacher.
Does that make sense?
I think for me (right now) it’s more about the simple. The looking up at God as He teaches me how to walk and just trusting Him. He wants me to learn how to look. up.
I have to learn how to wobble when I really, really, just want to run.
God and I are doing a process together. He’s teaching me to trust him when I keep falling in the same spot.
Along the way, there’s improvement. I get a little closer to running. But first I need to learn how to walk. That’s just as important. Maybe even more.
It takes patience for a flower to grow. It takes patience for a tree to become steady. I’m learning, and that’s okay. God is faithful.
Sometimes the blooming is more beautiful than the finished bloom.
One thing’s for sure, when you’re connected the Eternal Spring, there’s no way you can’t grow.
So here we are. Guatemala is beautiful. The Lord is beautiful. We’re all learning how to grow. I’m learning how to wobble. And we’re all gonna be just fine. Abba likes to take care of his kids that way.
Love you all!!
Kylah
