Happy Thanksgiving friends!!!!
It’s time for an update!!
One week ago today, I decided to work on getting the last bit of my funds. It’s been a stressful thought in the back of my mind lately, but God told me He was gonna provide.
I had $1,875 left to raise by January 15. It was doable, but I needed to stop pushing it to the side.
So I put a tagline after my blog that day telling people how much I still needed, and hoped for the best.
Within 2 days, we raised $270!! What!!! I could not believe it! God gave me a gentle reminder that He was taking care of things, and that I could settle down and have peace about it. I thanked Him and told my squad friends all that had happened.
A few days later, we talked more about the funds. I told Him I believed He would bring in $500 by the end of the month. And then I rethought it, maybe $300 instead. $500 would be a stretch. But God told me to trust Him. If He had me believing He was gonna raise $500 by the end of the month, it was because He was gonna do it. So I said okay and went on my merry way.
Fast forward to today. There hasn’t been much activity since those two days, but I was still believing God was gonna provide. I thought about how else I could fundraise.
Then I checked my email…. my sweet friends donated ONE THOUSAND five hundred!!!!!
Like, what the heck!!!!!!! What????
Apparently, they had been praying about what to do with their tithe and Jesus told them to give it to me.
Wow, like!! What a gift, honestly!!!
So NOW, one week later, I’m fully funded.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for supporting me. It’s kind of weird being in another country with people I didn’t know that long ago.
