When I was making this video about my time in Ecuador it was really bittersweet.
Update: if you do not know I am currently living in Trujillo, Peru with just my team and life here is really good. Now back to Ecuador things.
I had been taking videos most of month one into debrief, but not much of month two. So revisiting the videos I took month one had me start remembering some really sweet memories from Ecuador.
How heavy we were all breathing being 13,000 ft. above sea level and doing heavy manual labor most of us have never done before.
Wearing the same exact clothes to ministry everyday because we didn’t wanna ruin our other clothes.
It taking us literally two weeks to figure out our two hour route bus system and Carter being the only one knowing where we were going.
Jacob saying before every bus arriving “hey guys, I think this is us”
Cat nearly falling flat on her face everyday riding the buses.
Going to Carlos’ to get pizza nearly every Sunday.
Team time in our same room almost every night and at least one girl letting one rip.
Buying a carrot or bell pepper every day before ministry while Shekinah bought an apple.
Diego showing us around the city of Quito and taking us ice skating and bowling.
Elijah convincing me to get in a virtual reality simulation with him and it totally being not worth it.
Seeing Mabe and Fabi’s sweet faces everyday.
That one time Fabi made us deep clean all our rooms randomly before one dinner.
My team and team silverbacks getting lost and them coming back to tell the tale.
That one time Brittany totally took Elijah C to the ground and everyone called her the new alpha.

I think this is my favorite vlog because I really really loved my time in Ecuador and time with my people.
