As you know, a few months ago we changed some things around for G Squad, and during those changes I stepped into the position of squad leader. This is my update on how the transition is going.
Interestingly enough, the longer I’m on this race and the more I learn, the tougher it seems to get. It is almost bittersweet because as I walk through trying moments, I cringe in frustration while also recognizing that this struggle is actually indicative of growth.
One of the toughest “dilemmas” I am facing (as I have at least alluded to before) is letting my mind wander to the future. As time passes I am beginning to wonder what God has for me next. The danger here is that in looking ahead I am more likely to miss what is right before me. So as I go to the Lord submitting not only today before him, I must also continually give him the days to come. He is faithful, and will continue to be in the future.
As I wade through my anxieties about what lies ahead, God continues to tell me, “Wait on me.” And so I am waiting…for what, I’m not sure, but I know that God has got it under control. Thank goodness!!!
