In our final meeting as Transformers we went around and said what we feel we bring to the group. I said that I bring a mullet; business in the front, party in the back. Now, for those of you who are having a panic attack because you fear a terrible hairstyle is upon me– fear no more, for it is not a hairstyle I speak of.
What I meant by mullet was in relation to balance. I feel that God has certainly blessed me with a great sense of balance between “work” and play. As a team leader there is some navigating roles and responsibilities. Fortunately God designed me to be fairly laid back allow neither of those to make me crazy. Sometimes you gotta wear the business suit, other times you need to rock a tie-dyed shirt. It’s all about balance.
So, if you’re one of those people who struggles with too much business, or too much play, I encourage you to explore a new approach. Mullets for everyone!
