My response when people, including myself, express their woes or complaints is almost always “life goes on”.

Today everyone’s woes and complaints are plastered on social media for the world to see. I’m looking at anger, fear, hate, arguing, point proving, “I’m just saying”, this is right, that is wrong, etc. One thing is for sure, we’re all stuck in the same boat.

Well… until the rapture.

Instead of the typical impartiality, today I say “life goes on” with hope.

Without hope, life just goes on. With hope, life goes on with purpose.

I believe in the God who changes the hearts of men. Draws us by his mercy. Whose ways are higher than our ways, thoughts higher than our thoughts. Who has a great plan of salvation. Who put the good news in my heart and His very Spirit in me and anyone else who will believe. I don’t just have hope, but I have an assured hope. A hope that has been made available to us all.

In the sentiment of “life goes on”, I hold to this… “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
