We are in month 3,
how crazzzyyy is that?
We have been in Bolivia for almost one week and already I can feel that the Holy Spirit is moving here or at least wanting to move here. Being here is so much different than our last month in Peru and for the first few days it was difficult for me to transition into what God wanted me to do here. I knew with all of my heart that God wanted big things to come from my team and me here, but I fell in love with Laredo and the people there and I wasn’t quite ready to move on from there yet. But I guess what I want and what God wants are two totally different things because He sure was ready to get going in Santa Cruz.
We began ministry right away. We stepped off of our 50+ hour bus ride and went straight to work.

We are doing 3 different ministries here and this is our first month that we aren’t working directly with the church. Our first ministry is helping our contact Ken with his home for young men who come off the streets. His ministry is to basically just take them in off the streets and mentor them through high school and college. Right now there are 12 young men living in the house and they range from age 20-27. Our second ministry is helping with an organization called El Jordan, this ministry takes in families off of the streets and gives them a place to stay and teaches different classes to the women. While the women are in class we help basically babysit their children, we get to play with them and be kids with them its really great! 🙂 Our third ministry is helping with Y-wam. We actually get to go out into the streets and minister to the people.
I’m really excited for what this month is going to bring. My passion has always been in inner city work so I’m really pumped for what God is going to do through that this month. I’m prepared for it to be challenging, but I’m also prepared for God to really change hearts this month.
Although I know God gave me a heart for Peru and my heart will always always be there with the community of Laredo, I know God is going to give me a different kind of love for the people here in Santa Cruz. It wont be the same kind of love, but it will be the kind of love these people need. The Lord continues to remind me everyday that I am exactly where I am supposed to be for this time. His timing is absolutely perfect and He created me to be here now. He promises that He will give me all that I desire, therefore I know that He will continue giving me love not only for Bolivia but also for every other country that is to come.
Thank yall for your continued prayers and support! I love you all very very much! 🙂
