In order to go on the world race I needed to rent out my condo or sell it. My father would not approve me selling it and going on the race so I decided to rent it out in October. I never really got around to doing anything about it and was just focused on finishing Grad school. Three weeks ago I finally found a rental company that would rent my place out and manage it. It seemed liked a great idea but wasn't really. First they showed up on the wrong day to do the assessment, then they were a week late sending the contract, and they had the address wrong on it. I still signed the contract and went to take it in and they had closed early that day. I was pretty frustrated and asked God what I was supposed to do. He told me to wait and listen to him. I am not good at this at all God had told me in September I was moving out by December but when my life got busy I forgot about this. Well the day before Thanksgiving I found out my boss may have someone to rent out my place in a few weeks. I was excited and waited to see what God wanted. Well on Monday I recieved a phone call that the person would be here at the end of the week. I had not packed a thing yet!! I just kinda let it go. On Tuesday the person called and was gonna be here TOMORROW!!! WHAT!!!?!?!? I was so not ready. I was in my second to last week of school and had tons of work. I quickly finished my three final projects and went into a packing frenzy. Luckily I had downsized a few months back and sold tons of stuff. On Wednesday I finished packing! I started cleaning and even did some power washing! Wednesday afternoon I had a signed lease for a year and the person renting the place said he'd probably stay for 18 months anyways or find someone to move in until I return. Praise God!! On Saturday I moved my furniture and finished cleaning up my condo! I moved out and started the next adventure before the race. I have a wonderful friend that is letting me live with her until I leave. I have a great bedroom complete with a dinosaur mural on the wall…Pretty Sweet!! I write this to remind you of what God has reminded me His plans are far greater than ours. I wanted to stay at my place longer it was safe but God needed me out and on his next adventure. I had only lived in the same area of Florida since I got here 8 years ago and now was moving 15 minutes away ironically to the area I had first wanted to live in when I arrived here. God knows our lives far better than we ever will and has plans for us should we be willing to OBEY!! I also need to remember to listen to him, when he tells me something I need to remember and do as he wishes. I serve an amazing God who is greater than I ever will be. So you can move in 5 days time, move away from your comfort, move in with people when you are used to living alone, and so much more when God is with you, you can truly do anything!!! I'm excited because this really proves I am going on the World Race and that God is in control of my life!!!
