There are not words that accuratley can describe this past year. I began the World Race as one person and am walking away a completley different person. I have been privilaged enough to have experiences that many can only dream about. I have stories that I will tell my children and grandchildren about someday. I have witnessed God do miracles in many ways. I could spend days talking about what I've seen and done.
I did landscaping and spent hours with boys coming off the streets. I've lived at a special needs orphange with amazing children that captured my heart
.
I've taught Sunday School and English classes. I've learned basic phrases in 7 different languages. I've seen my dinner killed in front of me and even helped with the process. I've eaten more rice and beans than I wish I had. I've spent more nights sleeping on the floor than in a bed. I've preached sermons and lead worship. I rafted the Nile. I rode an elephant and bamboo rafted. I made new friends in 11 countries andf traveled with more
.
I helped and love on gypsy kids
.
I talked to girls in the sex trafficking industry. I've eaten meat and not asked what kind. I've taken bucket showers and become skilled in using a squatty. I've given away my wardrobe around the world. I've gone more days without showering than I'd like to admit. I've created strong bonds with incredible people
.
I've eaten ice cream in 11 countries. I've shared the gospel and evangelized to people of many nations, religions, and nationalities. I've prayed with people on the street, in churches, and hospitals. I've seen people come to know God and get healed. I've ridden in a dump truck, tuk-tuks, planes, boda bodas, and bicyles. I've walked miles just to walk more miles. I've seen God in a new light. I've been in 12 passanger vans with over 20 people in it. I've spoken about God is schools.
I've loved more than I ever thought possible. I've done all this and so much more.
This is not the end of the journey but an incredible springboard for the rest of my life.
Thank you to everyone who supported me in anyway on this adventure. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. The World Race would not have been possible for me without each of you. I greatly appreciate your support. God bless you all.
