Friends and Family,

Hi! I hope this letter finds you well, but even more so I hope that I’ve recently talked with you face to face and already know how you are! The reason for this letter will probably not come as much of a surprise to you and you’re probably asking, “Where now Krystle?” J Well, throughout college and the past couple years I’ve been asking God to direct my heart more specifically in doing mission work full-time as a career. As of now I haven’t been led to a specific people group, country, or organization full-time, but He has opened up a door for this next season of my life.

Since leaving Kenya this past year I learned about the World Race, which caught my attention and left me intrigued. It’s an opportunity to experience adventure, community, and growth through an organization called A.I.M. (Adventures in Missions). I will be doing ministry on a team for 11 months in 11 different countries while racing other teams to a final destination. I will be leaving in July, 2008. In some countries we will work with in orphanages, schools, churches, and various other ministries. The route isn’t set yet, but some of the countries visited in the past include: Mexico, Peru, South Africa, Swaziland, Thailand, and China.

Despite some of the unknown details my main desire for this journey is to not only encounter and be challenged even more by Jesus, but to invite others to meet Him along the way as well. From past experiences I have learned how vital it is to have partners in accomplishing these purposes, so this is where you come in….

I am so thankful to be a part of the World Race and I’m trusting God to meet my needs. Ultimately, my hope is that He will do this through you, so I am inviting you to join me in this ministry both prayerfully and financially. I am specifically asking for seven people who will commit to pray for me each day until I return, with the remainder of my supporters praying at least a few times each week. Also, I must raise app. $1,255 each month to cover travel and living expenses for a total of app. $13,800 for the entire eleven months. I calculated that if 50 people committed to giving $25 every month of my trip, I would meet my goal! You can give monthly pledges or one-time donations. Will you please pray and consider supporting me?

I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, which invites you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions. You may write “appealed by” and my name in the memo section of the check. All donations should be mailed to Adventures in Missions, P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all necessary information. Adventures in Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult your tax advisor.

I am excited about what lies ahead and desire to be stretched and used by Jesus in unimaginable ways. I left this idea alone for quite a while, but was then challenged by God to keep moving forward in faith until He said stop. He hasn’t said stop, so here I am! Would you prayerfully consider joining me?

Because He First Loved Us, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all

we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work

within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus

Krystle Longmire throughout all generations, forever and ever!”
