Dear friends and family,
Since my last letter in January God has done some pretty awesome stuff! I went to Georgia in April for an intense training camp where I bonded with my team and was challenged like crazy. From that, I was asked to lead an all girls team (Kiatera, meaning “Daughters”) in which God has been preparing me ever since. He has provided prayer support through two random older women who “just so happened” to come into my life throughout my preparation time the past couple months. He has also provided financial support through random strangers, whom I still don’t know. And emotionally and spiritually He has been strengthening me, teaching me, and drawing me into a more intimate relationship with Him.
My team and I have each had to raise $ 13,800 to cover both travel and living expenses for the entire year (living off of $ 7/day), and I’ve almost met my entire goal! Currently, I have $ 8,855 actual cash in and $ 2,825 in pledges, leaving me with $ 2,120 left to go! God is such an incredible provider; thank you for being a part of his giving, whatever that has been! Some of you have given to me financially, some prayerfully, and some of you have just been a friend who’s supported me emotionally through listening…for any and all of this, thank you!
