This week I’m at training camp and Jonathan David Hesler ministered with some awesome prophetic music. One story he told us was about how people don’t understand why we raise our hands. This is one thing that over the years I had trouble explaining.
Until now…Hesler gave us a story that totally made sense. He talked about when his daughter wants a hug she raises her hands and says daddy hold me. Same thing… when a child is hurt… or when we need our mom to just comfort us we ask for them to hold or hug us. This is the same thing with God we raise our hands b/c we are asking him to hold us… to pick us up and just love us when we are going through the hard times! I love how God just loves us no matter what no matter what we have been through or who we are!
