Prostitutes that found Jesus

This week we started house visits.. It has been quite a different experience and the language barrier has been very difficult.
Tuesday I was teamed up with Pastor Jane, Carrie, and a guy named Sight.
On the way to the village we came across a guy named Caesar that looked really stoned….he really wanted us to spend time with him but Pastor Jane told him she would come to his house.(she never got his address)
We went to a Mormon house…Pastor Jane and Sight tried to share the love of Jesus but they had no desire to want to know…all they knew were scriptures but didn’t live by them.
Next we went to a ladies house that had several children and one mentally retarded one. He was so sweet. She accepted Christ into her life and will be at church Sunday.
We met a guy named Mike next…he was a follower but really didn’t feel very involved in his church, we encouraged him.
The last house we went to that day..was a guy that had a wife and several kids. He was really over joyed that we came to his house to share the love of Jesus…he accepted Christ in his life and he will be at church with his family on Sunday.

When I got back to church Allie told me about two prostitutes that she had met. She was doing a house visit, preaching the love of Jesus…when she walked away two women followed her and said that they wanted to have their lives changed. Allie told them to met her at the church later.
Allie asked me to meet with them also.
The woman came!! We sat down with them and shared the love of Jesus…I told them a lot about my past and how I let men take over that void in my life and how Jesus now fills that void. Tears feel from their eyes as they went into more detail of what was going on in their lives. One girl had a massive cut down her face, where she had been beat up by one of the men. They talked about how they turned to prostitution because they are the main income for their families, and they cant get a job. Also that they lived at the bar and were pretty much owned by the owner. Such a sad situation.
After a while they both accepted Christ into their lives and said that they were going to move out of the bar but it would be a very hard choice. They have many trials they will have to face with this man, he could do harmful things to them. They were supposed to come back the next day for more counsellings with the church but they haven’t returned. Please keep these girls in your prayers!

On Wednesday we headed back out to do house visits, and God set up a divine appointment with Caesar. We stumbled upon a house and saw him outside doing laundry. He invited us in and after hours of counseling he accepted Jesus into his life and is going to start going to counseling at the church.
We also went to another house that day where over 9 people accepted Christ into their lives.

We went to two schools yesterday., and over 50 kids accepted Jesus into their lives. Revival is about to hit here!!!!!

The church here in Mzuzu are such angels.. They prepare food for us everyday and do our laundry. This church has been such a blessing to me and my team.

My Mzuzu thoughts or facts—–

All the women here wear skirts or dresses with a shatang over it.

The women carry their babies on their backs- they have shatangs that they tie around them and the babies. (its too cute)

The town ran out of Coca Cola for the first time ever yesterday.

Showers are a blessing from God:)
