Ireland is beautiful! Words can’t
describe how beautiful Gods creation is here. Everything seems
backwards…their faucets have a cold one and a hot one. They drive
on the other side of the street. Even the light switches are
different (you turn it down for on and up for off). The toilet
handle is on the right side. But other than that this place is
awesome and I love to hear the people talk.

We were blessed this month to stay at
the Lighthouse, which is ran by the Dublin Christian Mission, they
have been around for around 200 years. We are staying upstairs in
the lighthouse where we have been blessed with beds, water, hot
water, food, wifi, a kitchen, and so much more. Plus we came here not
having any warm clothes and they opened up the clothing closet for us
to use whatever we needed. So we checked it out yesterday and its
just grand. Everything looks so European…which means we will be
walking around like Europeans.

Last night was our first night of
ministry, we helped prepare the food and serve it. It was heart
touching as we sang “Draw me close to you ” with the staff and
about 40 homeless people. My heart melted as I sang that song with
them and could relate to these people. All we have is Jesus and we
want him to draw us close to him and never let us go. I personally am
learning to lean on Jesus more and more each day, hes all I have
right now to comfort me and to help me through the tough times. I
know that each and everyone of the homeless people have a story to be
told and I can’t wait to sit down with them and hear their stories.
I know God is going to use me this month to tell my testimony to
share the battles that I have been though and I can’t wait!

Living here in the homeless shelter has really made me think that I am homeless too.  I live out of a backpack. I get excited when I hear something is “free”. We live on less than 4 euros a day which is not much, considering a loaf of bread is about 2 euros, so therefore I have no money.  I walk pretty much everywhere. BUT GOD IS GOOD..he is my light in this dark world.
