8 months ago, on October 8th
2009, I was sitting in a little office in Hopkinsville, Ky where my
job had sent me for a week. I was wondering what am I doing with my
life? I was called into the mission field at the age of 18, and I’m
wasting my life just sitting here doing nothing!
Thats the day I starting goggling about
mission trips…I came upon adventures in mission…there I found the
World Race! I was trying to argue with God…telling him I couldn’t
do this…i didn’t have $14,300, and I didn’t want to loose my job.
God spoke to me and said GOOO I will
take care of the rest, and I WILL supply all your needs.
I immediately signed up and paid my
application fee. I was scared to death to tell my parents…so I
emailed my step-dad and let him be the first to know.
I began to twitter, fb and everything
else asking for support….. I remember one guy saying why are you
asking for money when you haven’t even been accepted yet? HAHA I
just laughed and said bc I know the plans he has for me…he will
supply
On October 20th, I was
sitting in my hotel room, and I got a call…the call was from
Tangi/with AIM…..she told me that I had been ACCEPTED!
I was pumped up…freakin out…and was
scared all at the same time…God spoke to me and said remember I
will take care of you, and I WILL supply all your needs!s
Through it all …when my bank account
just had the $35 in it..I staid faithful! God has really tested my
faith in all of this….and when I wanted to give up he showed up
right on time.
Soooo…tomorrow is my last day at
Quest Diagnostics….I’m sad to be leaving but excited to where I’m
going! Tomorrow I am working in that little office where God
whispered to me on October 8th,2009 and said GOOO I will
take care of the rest, and I WILL supply all your needs… HAHAHA I
just laugh at the way God sets us up!
