It’s been a Chaotic Summer. I can’t even put into words everything that happened. In the middle of all of the chaos of camp, I found myself fighting a personal battle and losing track of time, which in turn lead me to the realization that I am not yet ready to leave for the race this October. So here I am both nervous and excited, informing you all that I have changed my route. I will now be leaving in January and embarking on the Fusion Route.

What is the Fusion Route?

1. The Fusion journey is designed to sharpen ears to hear what God is specifically saying today and to do what He says together without pre-assigned ministry in each country.

2. The squad is a fusion of racers from a variety of nations and cultures who will practically experience deferring to His Kingdom rather than their own cultural bias.

This route includes the following countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Spain,Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

I have never felt more sure of a decision than I do about changing my departure to January. It’s a funny thing when you can actually tell if you are headed on the right track and if people still have a role to play in your life. I was blessed this summer to meet some of the most supportive people in my life. God has begun communicating with me in new ways and I am forever thankful, considering how lost I have been feeling lately. In just these past few days I have started learning so much more about myself. I am finally finding my lost passions and I am beginning to dream so much more. A special thanks to everyone who has impacted my life this past year and to all of you who helped/supported me as I decided on what route to take. January cannot come soon enough.

“Whether you turn right or left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.” -Isaiah 30:21

Also to all of my new squadmates please be prepared for me to sing Lighthouse at least once a week.

“In my wrestling and in my doubts

In my failures You won’t walk out

Your great love will lead me through

You are the peace in my troubled sea”
