Silence. Crickets.
Sometimes I don’t know if words will ever return to me. The blank space of a new document ready for words about this beautiful country is sometimes entirely overwhelming.
Chile is incredible. You look up and all around you are the mountains. Waiting for the words that aren’t there while seeing the views here takes my breath away. That might be part of the reason that I don’t have words.
I love nature, and wonder and beauty. I see the world and want to share it with you in the process.
But to share when there just aren’t words. It is just that beautiful. The sunsets are stunning. I think God paints them every night just for me to see. And then He shares them with the rest of the country where I take my shoes off.
The ordinary, God-filled meetings we are having here are simply incredible. When I set out on my Race, I told God that I just wanted to be a part of his story around the world. I wanted to see what HE was doing in the nations. And that’s exactly what is happening here in Chile. That’s exactly the story I am living.
We aren’t here writing stories. We are here living stories that He is writing. We aren’t making new things but bringing things to light. He’s not doing something around us that He isn’t doing in us.
The silence can be beautiful. To me is reminds me of awe and wonder. The place where I just don’t have words to tell you how incredible Jesus is and all I can tell you is that you have to experience Him.
He’s changing my life, for sure. Hopefully, as the days pass, I will have words. Today, I am content to sit in awe.
