Short and sweet.
Although I have my letters printed and envelopes mostly labeled, I'm still waiting on a few things in order to send out my first batch of support letters. As some of you may or may not know, I am hoping to raise the funds for this trip primarily by relational, personal, loving, wonderful supporters compared to fundraisers, selling my belongings, begging, or stealing. The reason for this emphasis on a support team is because I hope to pursue ministry full time in some capacity once I am home from the World Race. In order to pursue full time ministry in the future I will need a team of supporters, and car washes every year until I'm 80 is not going to cut it.

This being said, I made my first $200 for the WR this past weekend. The crazy thing is, I honestly feel like I haven't even technically started support raising yet. BUT GOD went before me and allowed my path to cross with a couple generous strangers, who were moved to give, and I recieved my first donations while I was on the clock at my sports-bar-waitressing-job.

Waitressing to make money.
Met Christians.
Talked about Jesus.
Talked about myself.
People moved to give $100 bucks, 2 days apart.
Joy. Elation.
Opportunity to witness to my beloved co-workers.
Jesus is alive.
God is good.

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." -Eph2:4-7<3
