It’s been a couple weeks since I blogged. Here is a quick update: We are now in Costa Rica working with a wonderful ministry called Zoe Future Leaders. The ministry has a school called Glory Christian School and a Bible School as well as several youth outreaches. We are paired with Team Petrichor this month and I’m so excited to get to work with them and to work with the little children who God has given me such a heart for. I serve mostly with the Primary school children and am especially fond of working with the kinder and first graders. In the week that we have been here, we’ve already become BFFs and they run up to me and hold my hand and ask to sit with me on the playground during recess. They help me with my Spanish and I’m amazed at how much English they understand.
In other news, I would like to give you a peek into my team; the six other girls I get to share this journey with. One of my teammates wrote a wonderful blog about living in community and what my team is like (the good, the bad, the ugly and the funny). I thought I would share. Enjoy:

Until next time! BTW: I still need $2,900 to be fully funded. Please prayerfully consider supporting me and passing the word along.
Love, Kristy…
