I reached my goal of $18,700!!! It is such a relief to know that I am fully funded and do not have to worry about that aspect any more! I could not have done this without all of you!!! So I want to take the time to say thank you! Thank you for your generosity! Thank you for partnering with me in this journey to spread Gods kingdom! 3John 3:5-8 “Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are, who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.”
In addition I wanted to say thank you for all the prayers! It truly is a vital part of this journey as well. To hear people praying constantly when all I asked for was one day a month means more than you know! Please know that that is what makes our ministry effective and keeps us protected, and I appreciate it more than you know!! Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. — 2 Thessalonians 3:1
Lastly thanks to those of you who wrote me notes of encouragement to take with me to open along the way! They have been such a blessing to me during the hard times. Some just make me laugh! Some bring back memories of good times! And some give me the exact scripture I need in that moment to press on in this race! This was the case recently when I opened a card to see this verse Gal 6:9.
Quick update on what we have been up to, we are heading north to our city and finding it to be a slow journey. When we finally got a bus ticket from Hyderabad to Agra it was supposed to be a 22hr bus ride… it turned into 36hrs and included being stranded on the side of the road for 6hrs. We used this time to interact with people in the village nearby. Being a group of Americans we always draw a crowd. We played games with the kids, had a worship session on the side of the road, we prayed over women and their households, and of course, took lots of selfies!!! We have been in Agra longer than anticipated as well but in that time we have done hostel ministry. You never know who you will meet in a hostel and what kind of impact you can do have during your short interactions till you do it. We have been able to share our faith, share our testimonies, play a Christian film in the movie room for others to join with us. It truly doesn’t matter where you are it’s about sharing Jesus along the way! Tonight we finally head to our assigned city up north and I’m excited to what God has for us there!!
Worship on the side of the road while stranded.
Dinner with our new friends from our hostel!
Got to see the Taj Mahal!!
