One of my greatest fears and worries about starting The World Race was the fact that I had NO CLUE about what I was going to do after the 11 months. As time went on, my squad mates began having everything figured out; but, the answer to all questions posed to me remained “I DON’T KNOW“.

I decided to nail my worries to the cross.

Literally. I made a cross from scratch wood pieces that were laying around our orphanage construction site in Nepal, I put that cross in our team’s prayer room, and I spent hours talking to the Lord about everything that I still held on to and worried about. After we were done talking, I surrendered it all over to Him and nailed those things, including my future plans, to the cross; for the first time since the beginning of my Race 8 months prior, I was finally comfortable with waiting and was no longer haunted by the ‘I Don’t Know’ response.

A couple weeks later, I got an email from an Adventures In Missions staff member with the subject “You’re Invited” and God opened a door to what would be my next move. Now, I’m excited to share with you that beginning in September, I will be participating in a 6 month program called The Adventures Fellowship!

Below are answers to a few questions that you might have about The Fellowship and how you can support me in my next season of ministry:

Q: What is “The Advntures Fellowship”?
A: The Fellowship is a 6 month opportunity for 10 high caliber developing leaders to make a significant leap in their leadership and professional develop under quality coaching. The program includes, but is not limited to, the following:
– Monthly get-togethers with one or more of Adventures senior leaders or board members
– One on One coaching in alignment with my area of focus
– A challenging curriculum of books, instruction, and projects
– Ownership and management of my own project
– Access to Adventures In Mission’s professional network of global leaders to help me land a long-term job (if interested)
– Coaching in bridging the gap between World Race lifestyle and my life’s calling

Q:How much does it cost?
A: I will be responsible for raising $9,950 in support. This amount covers program, administrative, and housing costs, a fellowship retreat to launch the program, 1 event during the program, and I get a $1,000 monthly stipend.

Q: How can I help?
A: Of course, prayers are ALWAYS welcomed and encouraged; but, you can also help to support me financially. Since this is an Adventures In Missions program, you can make a tax deductible donation to the same account as my World Race Fundraising Page. While the entire program costs $9950, I need to raise $3000 by September 1.

I am very excited to begin The Fellowship. Not only will it help to challenge and grow me professionally while receive quality coaching, but I will also get the opportunity to mentor other young adults (an area that I have felt called to for many years now). I’m also extremely happy that the program and housing are based in Gainesville, GA; which means I will remain near my friends and loved ones in Atlanta. Please let me know if you have any questions about this program or want to know more details regarding how you can support.
