Except when they don’t …
Last night we had our graduation. I, along with 6 other Fellows, have officially completed a 6 month Adventures Fellowship Program!! WOO HOO!!!
The night was full of great food, tons of laughter, and sweet moments of reminiscence – t’was a bitter sweet evening. I’m really going to miss this amazing cohort, these amazing people, who helped shape this season and make it all worth while.
For most of The Fellows, this week culminates their Fellowship experience, but not for me – my experience with The Fellowship is just beginning to ramp up. For the past couple of months I’ve been working towards:
- Creating and Casting Vision for the Future of The Adventures Fellowship Program
- Recruiting Eligible Fellowship Candidates
- Establishing Structure and Developing Curriculum for a 6 Month Leadership Program
- Coordinating Housing Arrangements, Orientation Activities, and Work Placements for the new Fellows
It’s been a very busy, exhausting, and sometimes trying time; but on Friday, March 20th I get to see the one thing that has kept me motivated – The MARCH 2015 FELLOWS
I will be welcoming 4 amazing Fellows to Gainesville, GA and overseeing their spiritual, leadership, and character development over the next 6 months. You can visit their profiles below!
I get to do life with them; I get to teach them; I get to advise them; I get to love them; I get to encourage them; I get to inspire them; I get to help launch them into their future, their destiny, with confidence in who they are and in the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives.
I’m extremely excited for this group and proud of them for saying “yes”. I know that God has big plans for them – and big plans for me. I know that I will be stretched and challenged, but most importantly, I will be walking in the way that has been paved out specifically for me by the Lord. I thought that my tenure at Adventures In Missions was going to expire after 6 months, but now I’m certain that the best is yet to come!

Part of my commitment with Adventures In Missions involves support raising for the organization. I have committed to raising $15,000 over the course of a year – this comes out to $1250 per month.
